My Testimony Poem
By: Jeremiah Baldizan

I’m lost and blind,
Will you help me find,
The One who died,
To save me from the flames,
Will somebody help,
I think I am safe,
My conscience seared,
I love to sin it’s so dear,
You know the savior,
Why for fear?
Your silence I can’t hear,
I will pay the price,
For my sins if you don’t,
Love of Christ consumes your doubt,
I have ears,
But how will I hear without a preacher,
I wouldn’t go to a church,
The Church must come to me,
How will you find me,
I’m a face in the crowd,
On the bar side of town,
Driven by lust,
Earning His wrath,
Then one day,
he told me,
he didn’t beat around the bush,
Or mince his words,
Or scratch my ears,
he told me Truth,
My worst fears,
Tales of judgment filled my ears,
Pangs of conscience,
Screams inside,
Broke the law,
Can’t pay the fine,
Please God have mercy on this soul,
Now I know why Jesus died,
He defeated my enemy rose from the grave,
Please Lord Jesus make me your slave.
